1st stop of culinary tour – National Saloon of Wine
Meeting with the guide in front of main entrance to Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel. The local experienced licensed guide will wait you with sign BRATISLAVA CIT TOURS. The tour is available from Tuesday – Saturday at 02:30 pm.
From the hotel we will pass thru Hviezdoslavo Square along the Opera House to Main Square, where it is located close to the Bratislava’s Old Town Hall, National Saloon of Wines of Slovakia. Second stop of Culinary Tour is dedicated to Duck Pate tasting in a stylish Cafe Stefanka established in 19th century. The name Cafe of Stefania is according the Duchess Stefania, the widow of late prince Rudolf. The Cafe offers traditional Austro-Hungarian cuisine. In a pleasant ambience of the Cafe we will taste a local peculiarity – Duck Pate. Bratislava and surrounding region of Small Carpathian Wine Road are famous, mainly in autumn thanks to Goose & Duck feasts.
3rd stop in our culinary tour – Sladovna Beer House
Slovakia thanks to its proximity to Czechia & Germany has also strong beer tradition. Although north of Slovakia is more beer region, than Bratislava where is also wine popular, the beer and it’s beer culture and cuisine has strong position in day routine of majority of Slovaks. Our 3rd stop is in the one of the most famous Beer Houses of the town – Sladovna Beer House. Culinary tour includes tasting of three samples of specialty beer with delicious pretzel.
4th stop of Culinary Walking tour of Bratislava
The last stop is the most sweet one. We will end our culinary tour of Bratislava, in stylish patisserie located directly in the heart of Bratislava’s city center, close to Main Square.
